Stayed 4 nights in December 2023. Front desk very helpful. Forgotten the lady name,she allowed us check out late as my younger boy was not feeling well. We had 2 rooms, 1 room was allowed to checkout slightly later on 29/12/23. Room service was efficient and helpful. Keep up the good work. Concierge too were very helpful, resources and even thou they we busy, they were patient and went extra mile to direct us to where we want to go. Lastly,the manager at Sunny restaurant was very professional and helpful. I could only remember her name Nelly because she told us my boy could dine free as it was his birthday month. We noticed all the staff in the restaurant were very hardworking, they work at a team. First time to Taiwan city hotel and impressed by this group of staff in the hotel. Pls keep up the service standard. Sometimes location of hotel is not that ideal but service staff plays an important role. We'll done.

Stayed here June 22 to June 25, then again from June 29 to July 1st. This is not a Hilton or Marriott hotel, but I really missed the spacious room, friendly employees, huge lobby, and the on-site restaurant with atrium. The atrium reminds me of the Embassy suites by Hilton here in the States:). This is definitely a place that I would stay again! Me and my wife traveled with our 14-year-old son who's on autism spectrum, and our 3-year-old daughter who's not potty trained at that time. We traveled from Los Angeles to visit relatives in the Philippines, then the relatives in Taiwan. The flight on June 22, 2023 from MNL to TPE was delayed and it was already 1 am June 23 when we arrived at the hotel. We got 6 luggages and they were friendly and helpful. We checked out on June 26 joinded a guided private tour to visit central / southern Taiwan. The hotel provided the service to hold 3 of our luggages for free until we checked in again on June 29 so that we didn't have to bring so many luggages with us visiting southern Taiwan. It was very nice!

I do not recommend this hotel. It is the most soulless place I’ve ever stayed. It is not a place for solo travellers. On check in reception didn’t even greet me, just asked for my passport. I stayed 3 nights and 4 days. Noone spoke to me the entire time except the ladies at breakfast to ask my room name and offer coffee. The room itself was OK, breakfast (which is expensive if paid for separately) was decent and location was ok but I definitely would not stay again unless I had to (or if the price was very good). Not a vibe. I spent 3 nights in Taipei and regret spending them here. The best thing about this hotel is the dumpling shop around the corner!

This hotel was recently renovated and is very well placed in the heart of Taipei next to Taipei Arena. Good pricing and very good for family travel. It is one of the largest hotels in Taipei and used to be the Asiaworld Taipei Hotel and Sunworld Dynasty Hotel. There’s the brown line MRT really close by and bus stations close by. Owners have done a good job with the renovation. Recommend to book and stay!

The front of the hotel and the lobby are pretty impressive looking, staff are friendly too, however, the room is small and smell musty. On the booking description it says the room is 314 sq ft, but I doubt it is the true size, there might be better rooms in the building but it requires a pricing upgrade. The staff said that the room we had was remodeled 6 years ago which doesn’t sound too bad, but it could be just a minor cosmetic make over. While in general the room was kept clean and the bed was comfortable, but the carpets really need a good shampoo to get rid off those dusty and moldy smell in the room. The location is great in terms of shopping and transportation, so if you decide to stay at this property, consider spend more for a newly renovated room.
